Most people start the New Year with a resolution, but not many people actually commit to them; this is where the German designer, Hannes Beer is different.
To renew his passion for design, Hannes launched into the New Year of 2011 promising to create something new everyday. ‘The All Day Everyday Project’ saw his resolution transpire. He created his mission as a graphic design diary and outlet. It gave him a way to balance the often limited creativity of agency needs and limitations associated with designing for clients in a professional realm.
Likes Hannes said, “You have to do something for yourself” and he has certainly done that with his keen eye for textures, colour palettes and type choices. Graphic Design is “not just a job you do for the money. It’s much more.” It’s part of your life so why not take advantage of it and enjoy it to its full potential.
Be sure to check out the full project on the dedicated The All Day Everyday Project Tumblr site, plus Hannes’ other work on his website. I loved his pieces so much it was hard to pick and choose what to display (never a bad thing when you have so much fantastic design work to select from).
